Before an AI Books Your Trip: Check Its Access, Approvals and Sharing
An assistant can suggest a flight in seconds. Before you let it act on a customer visit, decide which accounts it can read, what it can spend, and who it can contact.

A useful suggestion still needs your approval
Before an AI agent arranges a work trip, check its account permissions and review the actions it proposes. For a customer visit, you still need to confirm the arrival time, fare approval and who will contact the customer.
Meta announced Muse on September 8, 2026, with a US rollout. Duffel says its integration lets Muse users search live flight inventory, compare options, and purchase or cancel flights. That makes the distinction between asking for ideas and authorizing action worth checking before you connect an account.
Suppose you need to be in Denver for a Tuesday afternoon demonstration. An early flight might fit the calendar but leave too little time to reach the customer. Give the agent your arrival deadline and transfer allowance, then inspect the proposed journey before approving it. Keep customer names and confidential meeting notes out of the request when the city and timing are enough.

Choose what the agent can read
Connect only the accounts needed for the task, after checking your employer's rules. Your work inbox may contain customer discussions unrelated to travel. Giving an agent the route and dates yourself can be enough for an initial comparison.
Meta says Muse users choose connected apps and access levels, including whether email access permits reading or also sending. Read the permission screen for the service you connect. Check whether access covers one item or a wider account, and whether it lasts beyond this trip.
For the Denver visit, start with the departure city, travel dates, arrival deadline and approved budget. If a tool asks for broader access than you can authorize, pause that connection and use your employer's approved process. An app's permission screen does not grant permission to share someone else's confidential information.
Approve the exact purchase and message
Review the final travel details and each intended recipient before allowing an agent to act. Check the passenger name, airport, local date and time, total cost, baggage allowance and change conditions. Make sure the journey meets your company's travel policy.
Meta says Muse asks before sensitive actions such as purchases or sending email, and provides an activity record. Use that review step to examine what will happen. A request to find an earlier flight should not be treated as your approval to cancel the current one.
Ask for a message draft before contacting a customer. Check the recipient, meeting time and any attachments yourself. Include the availability they need and leave out the rest of your itinerary. For example: 'I can meet Tuesday after 3 p.m. local time. Does that work for you?' Send it only after checking that the journey supports that timing.
Verify the journey before making meetup promises
Check the airline or travel provider's confirmation before treating a flight as settled. Match the passenger, dates, airports and itinerary status against what you intended to purchase. Save the confirmation and the provider's support details somewhere you can reach during the trip.
Allow time between landing and a customer meeting for leaving the airport, ground travel and getting ready. If your arrival is still uncertain, describe the meeting window as tentative. Keep the customer's confirmed appointment separate from optional coffee with colleagues.
When travel changes, review the affected plans yourself. Update the people who need the new time through your usual communication channel and ask them to confirm it. Do not assume an agent's revised itinerary means a colleague has read or accepted a changed meeting.
Share the useful future plan in Droozi
Use the Droozi mobile app to manually add the place and dates you want to share, then choose the plan's audience. Once you have checked the journey, these details give contacts advance notice of when you expect to be nearby. You do not need to copy an airline confirmation into the shared plan.
Choose a city when that is enough. Droozi saves the place you select; selecting a specific venue can reveal that venue. The audience categories also need a check: Work means the contacts assigned to that category, rather than a guarantee that every recipient needs this particular customer's details.
- Confirm that your employer permits sharing this visit before adding a plan.
- Select Denver and the dates you expect to be there. Review the selected place before saving.
- Choose Work for relevant work contacts, after reviewing who you have categorized that way.
- Keep customer names, private addresses and confirmation documents out of the shared plan unless they are necessary and approved for that audience.
- If your journey changes, edit the saved dates and contact anyone whose meetup is affected.

Review access after the trip
After the visit, review connected services and remove access you no longer need. Check the agent's activity record for purchases and messages you authorized. Keep receipts and business records according to your employer's process.
Meta says users can change access or disconnect services. Its announcement describes a further Confidential VM option as planned for later in 2026. Treat that as a future feature when evaluating the current product.
Disconnecting a service is a different action from requesting deletion of retained information. Check the provider's retention controls separately. Likewise, editing a shared plan cannot recall a screenshot or information someone has already copied. Share details that serve the meetup, and leave out the rest.
